It's a bit more than just a ride, this adventure is action packed as we strap into this Supercharged 360 Horse Power Russian Radial. You can feel the power on take off as we climb to our aerobatic height. Once we have climbed to the desired altitude the rider gives the call to GO!!. All rides are tailor made for each person. The rider has full communication with the pilot at all times.
The adventure flight is governed by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority guidelines which state; This Yak 52 is operated in Australia under the Limited Category Civil Aviation Regulations allowing fare paying passengers to fly in this aircraft for adventure flights, and the passenger is told that: The design, manufacture, and airworthiness of this aircraft are not required to meet any standard recognised by CASA. CASA does not require the aircraft to be flown to the same degree of safety as an aircraft on a commercial passenger flight. And that the passenger fly at his/her own risk. This aircraft is capable of abrupt and extreme aerobatic manoeuvres and can place four to five times the force of gravity on your body. If you have any medical condition or weakness, we advise you not to fly. |
